Your first trial class is free!
To attend simply complete the Club Enrolment form.
The only restriction we have is with regards to training shoes and as such we ask that all trainers are smooth soled training shoes such as aerobic or gym shoes. Shoes with a substantial sole or a heavy grip pattern such as cross trainers are not permitted on the mats and you will be asked to train in your socks!
What Next!
After your first visit or once you've decided you would like to continue with Krav Maga then this is what we will need from you to allow you to continue to train.
Your member to member personal accident insurance payment of £15.00 and completed Student licence form. (more details below)
A completed Standing Order mandate form for one of the below membership options or payment for 10 x class vouchers.
All standing order payments are due on or around the 1st few days of each month. For students who join mid month the option exists for them to pay a one off cash payment for the remainder of that month based on the number of classes they wish to attend and until their standing order payment commences.
KMSD (NW) Pricing
KMSD (NW) prices itself in line with the principles laid down by Imi Sde-Or in that we believe Krav Maga should be attainable to everyone, young and old, man and woman. While we are aware some clubs charge less, we would say students should check the credentials of these clubs and the qualifications of their instructors. If these clubs or instructors can not prove direct links to Israel then most definitely you are not being taught Krav Maga.
Standard Membership
The Standard membership option entitles the student to attend any one of the weekly classes for a monthly subscription of £29.00.
Gold Membership
The Gold membership option entitles the student to attend any two of the weekly classes for a monthly subscription of only £39.00.
Platinum Membership
The Platinum membership option entitles the student to attend any number of the weekly classes and a 33% discount on all club seminars and course (excluding guest instructors) for a monthly subscription of only £49.00.
Note: All of the above plans are based on a 48-week year with a 30 day cancellation policy.
Payment Vouchers
Unable to pay by Standing Order Mandate due to work commitments etc? Then buy 10 weekly class payment vouchers for £79.50 and attend whenever you can. Vouchers are purchased in class or here
Personal Accident and General Liability Insurance
KMSD is a member of the NAKMAS and as such it is a compulsory obligation that all members have the appropriate General Liability and Personal Accident Insurance in place. Details of these policies can be found at here or from a KMSD (NW) instructor. The cost of this insurance is £15.00 annually and is payable upon enrolment to KMSD (NW). Please download, complete and return the Student licence form.
Footnote
For some time now Krav Maga has become a buzz word in the self-defence community. Instructors and clubs recognise that the name alone attracts students looking for an effective and easy to learn self-defence system and as such, particularly over the last year the "British this" and the "Association of that" along with the "Federation of all being" have formed in an attempt to officialize their clubs and to give credence to their systems. In the world of martial arts and self-defence there is a great deal of illusion and fakery. Even the various Federations and Associations born in Israel argue amongst themselves with regards to each others qualifications to teach Krav Maga and as such irregardless of paying £5.00 or £50.00 all students should check the qualifications of A) their instructors, B) their clubs and C) their Federations/Associations. Recently during a conversation about our next trip to Israel a new student told how he was gutted to had just missed out on some Krav Maga Training in Transylvania. I had to remind the student Krav Maga does not come from Transylvania, or for that matter Poland or Europe. It comes from Israel, If you want to train Krav Maga go to source, if you cant go to source then make sure your club or instructor does!
